The Matthew Reardon Center for Autism (MRCA) faced an existential crisis when the state of Georgia attempted to cut its funding. However, the organization was able to recover with support from Bonterra Fundraising and Engagement. This solution helped the center launch an advocacy campaign driving supporters to contact their legislators about preserving state funding for their school with just a few clicks, and it also helped them offer those supporters — who’d already shown affinity for their work — opportunities to easily make gifts and grow the organization’s individual giving program. As a result, MRCA was able to preserve the vast majority of their state funding, message their supporters in more resonant ways, and more than quadruple their individual donor pool in order to continue serving their community.
