The webinar focuses on best practices for preparing to go live with the Apricot platform. The presenter explains that "going live" simply means the organization has started entering real client data into the system, rather than a specific on/off switch. She outlines several approaches organizations can take, such as launching one program or phase at a time to ease the transition, or "ripping the bandaid off" and going live with the full system from the start. Regardless of the strategy, the presenter emphasizes the importance of finalizing the design of Apricot forms and reports prior to launch, ensuring all required fields, options, and permissions are properly configured.
The second half of the session covers the process of finalizing user roles and accounts. The presenter walks through the steps to review and modify role permissions, as well as create new user accounts and assign the appropriate roles and programs. She stresses the need to make new user accounts inactive until the training day, at which point the login invitations can be resent. The webinar concludes by providing guidance on training staff, recommending hands-on sessions focused on specific program workflows, as well as ongoing support strategies to address questions that arise during the initial Apricot rollout period. Attendees are encouraged to leverage Apricot's help resources if they encounter any challenges while preparing their organization to go live.
