This webinar introduces the concept of "blueprint" or template forms that come pre-built within the Apricot platform. These include both tier one forms, which capture demographic and identifying information, as well as tier two forms designed to track service interactions and outcomes. The presenter emphasized the importance of understanding the distinction between these form types, as the software will automatically designate template forms as tier one, even if the user's intent is to use them for tracking services. She walked through the process of customizing these blueprint templates by adding new sections and fields to meet the organization's unique data collection needs.
The second half of the session focused on the pre-built report templates available within Apricot. Similar to the forms, these reports leverage the data captured in the blueprint templates to provide common analytics and insights. The presenter recommended that users create copies of these reports rather than modifying the originals, in order to preserve the baseline functionality. She demonstrated how to organize these customized reports into distinct categories, such as an agency-specific "Helping Hands Reports" folder, to maintain clarity and facilitate future access. Attendees were encouraged to leverage Apricot's training resources, including additional webinars on report building and data analysis, to further develop their skills in leveraging the platform's reporting capabilities.
