The Fundraising Extension Pack is a pre-designed add-on for the CyberGrants platform that enables organizations to display fundraising events and allows employees to initiate giving requests through two main components: the Fundraiser Search Portlet and the Fundraiser Progress Portlet. This extension enhances the platform's functionality by providing a seamless interface where donors can search for fundraising events using various filters such as keyword, event type, date range, and location. Once a suitable event is found, users can view event details and make donations through different payment methods, including credit card and offline donations, following the standard contribution workflow.
The Fundraiser Search Portlet displays all current fundraising events created under the Fundraising Event Creation Proposal Type, showing important information such as the fundraiser title, organization, date, time, address, and event type. Meanwhile, the Fundraiser Progress Portlet visually represents the total amount raised against the fundraiser goal, providing transparency and encouraging participation. Both portlets work together to create an engaging user experience that facilitates employee giving while maintaining proper tracking of fundraising progress.
This extension follows CyberGrants' vetted methodology for implementation, which requires client participation in comprehensive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) before any functionality is deployed to production. As a standard extension, it can be purchased using solution credits and includes a maintenance package that allows for further program additions. It's important to note that you are limited to one change per calendar year within the scope of the purchased extension.
