This video provides a detailed explanation of the Super PDF extension pack available through Bonterra's CyberGrants platform. The extension streamlines the process of generating PDF documents from request and organization records by compiling all request or organization data and attachments into a single PDF document or zipped file. When implemented, a "Generate PDF" button is added to the internal section of requests, allowing administrators to create comprehensive documentation that can include standard and custom field data, file attachments, organization information, payments, approvals, impact reports, and contacts.
The Super PDF functionality works in two distinct ways depending on the format of attachments. If all attachments are in PDF format, the system creates one consolidated PDF document with all content stitched together, with an optional compressed zip file available. If any attachments are not in PDF format, the system generates a compressed zip file containing the PDF document and individual attachments. The video emphasizes the importance of client participation in User Acceptance Testing to ensure proper functionality. To implement this extension, clients should identify which proposal types and data points they want included in the Super PDF, actively participate in the testing process, and prepare to discuss management and governance requirements with their Business Analyst.
