How Jumpstart Fundraising joined the Bonterra Tech Family

What is Jumpstart Fundraising?

Network for Good created the Jumpstart Fundraising program as a way for grantmakers to invest in fundraising capacity building support for their grantees. The year-long program pairs nonprofits with a personal fundraising coach, integrated technology, and ongoing training that empower them to create transformational change. 

Through Jumpstart Fundraising, foundations and grantmakers agree to fund nonprofits’ enrollment in the program, which allows the grantmaker to make a strategic investment in participating nonprofits’ futures.

How Jumpstart Fundraising became part of Bonterra

Jumpstart Fundraising originated with Network for Good. Network for Good was founded in 2001 as a pioneer in the online fundraising space. Its nonprofit fundraising software for small and medium-sized nonprofits has helped support over 400,000 nonprofit leaders and disburse over $5 billion in donations. It exists today as a donor advised fund.

Bonterra acquired Network for Good in the first quarter of 2022. The Jumpstart Fundraising program joined Bonterra along with Network for Good. Both companies committed to running the program without interruption as the acquisition was finalized.
