Key changes in donor behavior

Over the past two decades, Americans have significantly changed their giving behavior. Most notably, participation in charitable giving of American households and individuals has been declining since 2000.

In 2020, the onset of the ongoing global pandemic has presented numerous challenges and shifts for the philanthropic sector. The Giving Environment series, produced by researchers at the IU Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, looks at pre-pandemic trends in charitable giving, understanding donor decisions in recent years, new models of giving such as subscription giving, and the growing significance of engaging donors.

Please note: This webinar was originally produced by Network for Good, now a Bonterra solution. As a result, it features outdated branding, and you may hear references to products that have been renamed.
